Eight several metres deep boreholes in northern Egypt have been drilled by a team of Polish scientists led by Prof. Leszek Marks of the Faculty of Geology, University of Warsaw. Detailed analysis of the obtained cores will allow the reconstruction of climate in this area over the last 10,000 years.
The American team of archaeologists found an intact tomb with six mummies in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt. Bodies come from the period about the reign of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, therefore sometimes between the years of 1,570 to 1,320 BC.
So what were the conclusions of Harrison? Unfortunately there is no official report with detailed information about the results of his research. However, during the analysis of the mummy of Pharaoh Tutankhamun turned out that blood clots were discovered inside the skull, on the bottom of it. These could be a result of a hematoma between meninges. Notable was the fact that the clot was covered with a calcified layer.
